There is the Hard Rock Casino with a clever rock-and-roll theme, Treasure Island where you'll find pirate ships, Paris with a replica of the Eiffel Tower, the Venetian with real gondolas that will actually take you for a spin and my favorite New York, New York. In front of the hotel you will be treated to a fantastic facsimile of the New York skyline.
There are always special deals available no matter what time of year it is. It's just a matter of knowing where to find them. If you're going to Vegas on the spur of the moment and you will want to check to see if there have been any last-minute cancellations you can take advantage of. Otherwise, it is always best to plan well in advance so you have time to shop and compare the room rates.
