Here's Another Mini Guitar Lesson - Here's The Most Popular Jammed To Chord Sequence Ever!!!

By Mike Jones

I'm now going to show you a chord progression that is probably the most 'Jammed To' chord sequence ever created. It's called the 12 bar blues. This chord sequence is and absolute 'must know' for ALL guitarists. It is the mainstay for all blues music.

Here it is in its basic form, in the key of A.

OK, here it is :-)

We start by counting 4 beats to a bar like this: 1,2,3,4/1,2,3,4/ etc etc... Now start off by playing 4 bars of the A chord, followed by 2 bars of D, then go back to A for 2 bars then play one bar of E, one bar of D, a bar of A and finally a bar of E to finish the progression off. This sequence is called the 12 bar blues with obviously 12 bars in total.

For a great jam with your friends, simply repeat this sequence over and over again in the key of A. You'll sound GREAT - trust me! From now on when you listen to a blues number you will start to pick out the 12 bar blues as it is extremely popular.

I really hope you are benefiting and enjoying these free mini guitar lessons. Please try not to worry if things seem not to make too much sense at the moment because my full audio video program has everything in chronological order and will become crystal clear very quickly indeed. It follows a secret structured program that will transform students into a great player in no time at all.

Now moving on from the 12 bar blues we will stick with the same theme and have a look at one of the many variations of this classic sequence.

For this example we'll work in the key of A (major). It incorporates the use of 7th chords which sound cool in this context.

The sequence goes like this I A I D I A I A7 I D I D I A I A I E7 I D7 I A7 I E7 I

I A I = 1 bar of A (major) - I D I = 1 bar of D (major) etc

To play the A7 chord - the 6th string is not used, the 5th string is played open, we play the 4th string on the 2nd fret and the 3rd string again played open. The 2nd string played on the 2nd fret and to finish the the 1st string is played open.

D7 is played - 6th & 5th string not used, 4th string open, 3rd string 2nd fret, 2nd string 1st fret, 1st string 2nd fret.

Here's E7 - 6th string is open, play 5th string on the 2nd fret, 4th string open, play 3rd string 1st fret and 2nd and the 1st string are played open.

You'll really enjoy this... It's a great chord sequence to jam to and allows you to endlessly practise your soloing over.

Moving on from this is a nice little trick to make your 12 bar blues even more bluesy...

Taking the key of A again we will substitute the D chord shape and the E chord for a D9 (D9th) and E9 (E9th). The D9th chord we will be using is played like this:

The 6th string is not used, the 5th string is played on the 5th fret (second finger) the 4th string is played on the 4th fret (first finger) and strings 3,2 and 1 are all played at the 5th fret using your 3rd finger.

To play an E9 chord slide the shape up two frets so the 12 bar blues sequence is now played like this:-

lAlAlAlAlD9lD9lAlAlE9lD9lAlE9l

Use the 9th chord shape to create a real bluesy sequence.

Enjoy.

Full High Definition Television Explained

By Marshall Denyer

HD broadcasting is pushing analog television sets off the market. LCDs outsell all televisions among smaller sized HD ready and full HD LCD sets. Plasma sets, which are mostly larger, also come in HD Ready and full HD plasma sets.

Full HD TV - The technical specifications for a full High Definition LCD TV must include a 1080p as its pixel count. The contrast ratio will be listed as 1920 by 1080p. This 1080p designation signals that a television set can fully and completely broadcast the highest level of high definition broadcasting without reducing it to a smaller pixel count. If you play a high definition DVD or blu-ray disk, a full HD LCD TV can claim the best possible LCD picture. In the same manner, if you check the technical specifications for a full High Definition plasma set, you will also find a pixel count of 1080p. The contrast ratio will be listed as 1920 by 1080p. Again, this is the only way to ensure a true high definition picture without loss of pixel count.

For blu-ray technology, which is also filmed in this 1080p high definition, these sets are perfectly compatible. These sets reproduce blu-ray disks exactly as they were filmed. Other sets cannot claim quite this high a quality.

HD Ready - HD ready capability exists in sets with a pixel rate of 728i or 1080i. Each set includes a built-in high definition tuner for displaying broadcasts with higher pixel ratings. LCDs and Plasmas have fixed-pixel displays that use pixels to display television images. If the number of pixels is 728, then it has 728 pixels per vertical inch. If the number is 1080, then it has 1080 pixels per vertical inch. Images increase in detail as the pixel number rises.

HD Set sizes - When it comes to HD set sizes, LCDs are available in almost every size from 10 inches up to its 42 inch TV. Then it jumps up into higher numbers, competing with plasma. The 42 inch set is a good middle ground for those who want size without incredibly high prices. Plasma comes in 50 and 60 inch sizes usually. However, some sets as small as a 42 inch TV do come in plasma. Sizes do not reflect whether the set is HD ready or full High Definition.

HD sets - One obvious difference between analog and full High Definition TV broadcasting is the aspect ratio. This is the width by height of a display. Analog broadcasting had an aspect ratio of four inches of width to three inches of height. HDTV broadcasts in a 16:9 ratio. You can expect a full HD LCD TV to be as wide as it is tall. It is thinner due to its streamlined technology, and its thinness is not a way to determine if a set is HD ready or a full High Definition LCD TV. Due to aspect ratio, full HD plasma sets and HD ready plasma sets may be as wide as they are tall. They are also thinner due to their technology, and thinness cannot be used as a guide to HD capabilities.

HDTV Converters - Analog televisions do work if hooked up to an High Definition TV converter. The HDTV converter works from outside of the television to tune the signal to analog. This is similar to the built-in digital tuners in LCD and plasma televisions. Without an HDTV converter, an analog television cannot receive digital broadcasting, which is fast replacing analog.

HDTV Online - High Definition TV online is accomplished through the pixel rate on your computer screen. It may or may not be high enough to deliver true HDTV. To find out if HDTV online is true full high definition, you should compare your pixel count and resolution to 1920 by 1080p. If it is lower, it is not full HD as compared to full HD LCD TVs and full HD plasma sets.

Learn How To Astral Project Naturally

By David Groomes

Each and every person in the world can astral project. In fact, many of us do so, although we might not know that this is what we're doing. The ability to consciously astral project and be in control of the experience can be learned with practice.

You probably already know about the astral body and the astral plane, so we'll jump right into techniques which can assist you in your efforts to learn how to astral project. Different people do better using different methods, so you'll probably want to try out a few until you hit on one which gets good results for you.

One technique you can try when you're lying in bed before you sleep follows. There are five steps to follow in this technique.

*First; Relax your entire body completely. The best way to do this is to start with your toes and work your way upwards, tensing and then relaxing each part of your body. You'll become deeply relaxed as you do this and your body may feel extremely heavy; this is perfectly normal.

*Second; Breathe slowly and deeply. This is something which is done while meditating. Focus on the sensation of the air moving through your lungs. Exhale as slowly as you inhale, imagining your stress floating away with each exhalation. Try not to fall asleep as you do this, though you may need to try this a few times before you can remain awake during this step.

*Third; Focus on the deeply relaxed way your body feels; it probably feels like stone or clay; that is to say, heavy and difficult to move. Next, concentrate on the weightlessness of your astral body and picture it floating up out of your physical body.

*Fourth; At this point, you may find that you're able to see perfectly in your room even tough your eyes are closed. Your room will be bathed in purple light. Focus on the light coming from the ceiling.

*Fifth; Visualize yourself pulling this light from the ceiling towards your astral body. You'll feel like your floating (your astral body will in fact be floating; if you look down, you might see your physical body still in bed).

If you've made it this far successfully, you are astral projecting and can begin on your astral travels. If this method doesn't work for you, however, there is another technique which many find useful.

This is called the gazing method and is used by many when learning how to astral project. It's a very simple method where you focus your complete attention on an object. This can be anything as long as its within your line of sight while you lie in bed.

Lying back in bed, focus on this object and continue to gaze at it until you can't keep your eyes open anymore. If you've been successful, you'll still be able to see this object after your eyes close. You'll probably feel like getting up, so do so but be warned that you may see your physical body lying in bed asleep; don't be alarmed!

If you aren't immediately successful with these techniques, don't give up. There are other ways to astral project, though any technique can take some practice. Be persistent and you will learn how to astral project before too long.

What's really important isn't how you get there, but that you can overcome your subconscious skepticism about astral projection. You have to repeat to your subconscious that there's nothing to worry about and it's OK for your astral body to leave on its travels. You can use affirmations to communicate this to your subconscious.

There are a lot of different methods of learning to astral project and whatever works for you is a good way to go.

Hypnosis, especially guided hypnosis works for many; having an expert there to explain everything and tell you exactly what you need to do can be extremely helpful.

New audio technology has enabled something called binaural beats which can produce a relaxed, meditative state using slightly different frequencies in each ear. A lot of people find binaural beats to make it easy to astral project.

Learning to astral project isn't as hard as you might think. It's a capacity which all of us have inherently. It's just a matter of practicing and fine tuning it. After all, you were born with the ability to learn to ride a bicycle, though you had to practice it. Learning to astral project is much the same; it's just learning to use the abilities you already possess.

Joana's leveling guide has long been the top of the list of favourite leveling guides for Horde characters. However, this reputation is very well deserved since not only many years of experience have gone into making this guide, but it is also frequently updated.

The fact that it is frequently updated is extremely beneficial, since World of Warcraft is constantly changing. If you buy an official strategy guide from the shop in a normal book format, you will find that it will be out of date as soon as the next major content patch arrives. This makes it a complete waste of money and all you have is a nice shiny book with lots of pictures of little practical use.

However, any updates to Joana's leveling guides are also completely free so once you buy the product, you will not need spend any more money in the future. This can work out a lot cheaper than many of the other competing guides.

This makes the product work out a lot cheaper than many competing guides, since you will never have to buy the product again no matter how major the revision is.

It is only for Horde characters and does not focus on any instances or endgame material. However, this is a bonus in many ways, since it focuses on one single thing and it does it very well. Rather than trying to be the Jack of all trades, this leveling guide is the master of leveling for Horde characters.

This guide will help you a lot simply because it integrates and add-on into the game which will point you in the right direction. This way you will never get lost and you will never have to minimize the game to review the guide. The in game guide includes all sorts of waypoints, telling you where to get the best quests, where to hand them in and of course, how to do the quests themselves.

Any quest which are slightly confusing and are not just a simple kill x number of mobs or collect x number of objects will be explained thoroughly in the game itself. It makes the whole process much quicker, and you should expect to be leveling faster than just about anyone else you have ever played with.

There is also a guide for the Death Knight starting area and much more. It also gives you quite a few useful extras which you will definitely find come in handy.

The Basics Relating to Waterproof Digital Camera Housing

By Randy Rushmore

If you are intending to use your digital camera anywhere near water, it is recommended that you buy a waterproof digital camera housing unit. These products have been designed so that a camera can be used under the sea without being affected by the salt water. It also helps to minimize any damage should the camera be dropped or knocked.

A quick search on the internet will bring up a wealth of waterproof digital camera housing products to choose from. The amount you can expect to pay for these products can range in between $50 and $600. It is usually the case that purchasing a camera housing online works out cheaper than buying it locally and many sellers deliver free of charge.

On important feature to note is that waterproof digital camera housing units are not automatically congruous with every type of camera. What this means is that not every camera will work with any kind of housing unit. As an example, if you have a certain brand of scuba camera, there will only be certain makes of housings that will be able to house that particular brand of camera. It is a possibility that this fact may affect how much you will have to pay out for a housing unit for your particular camera.

No matter if you are purchasing a scuba camera or a regular digital model, you can learn more about the accessories and attachments needed by browsing the World Wide Web. There is a wealth of information to be had in places such as sites dedicated to underwater pursuits or forums where the community are keen underwater photographers.

Should you decide to buy a waterproof digital camera housing product, then it needs to be well looked after. This will ensure that it lasts a lot longer than your average attachment. The first thing to do once you get it out of the box is to place your camera inside it and dunk it into some water. You need to be looking for any bubbles which will indicate that there is a leak in the housing. Many professionals recommend that you do this test again before you take your equipment into the sea for the first time.

The O Rings, which are an important part of keeping the waterproof digital camera housing sealed correctly, should be checked for any foreign matter and particles such as sand and dust. These elements can cause the unit to form a small leak which gets worse over time.

Experts also recommend that you take any digital or scuba camera with its housing to a technician for a regular check up. He will be able to ascertain that the unit is in perfect working order and is good for some more use.

If trying underwater photography is definitely something you want to do, then it is worthwhile spending that little bit more and getting the best equipment on the market. After spending so much, you then want to make sure that it is well protected; and one of the best ways to achieve this is to invest in a waterproof digital camera housing product.

Choosing The Perfect Photo and Picture Editing Software Program

By Lucas Godfrey

No matter how good the photograph is it will most likely require some type of editing. Even professional photographers will touch up their pictures no matter how good they are. With digital photography photo, editing is simple with all the free software that is available. Once you become more involved in this aspect of photography, you will probably want to invest in software that is a little more advanced.

Another thing people fail to realize is all the uses their photos have. They are not just for sticking in a hard cover album and forgetting about. One great way to use your photos is by creating a photo storybook. This can be most professional looking when the photo editing software is used.

If you are new to photo editing then when you go to find a free software to download find something that is easy and basic. If you have a great deal of difficulty in understanding or applying the editing features, you may become frustrated with digital photography on the whole.

An easy program will allow you to fix your photos with a few easy steps. Many times photos have a lot of material in them you just do not want. Your primary interest is the subject. Use the cropping tool to scale down your picture and bring it in closer to the subjects.

Make sure the software will give you the options for sharpening your colors and creating contrast if necessary. In addition, you need to be able to resize your pictures. You would do this if you want to print smaller versions or send them to a friend. When you do this step, you want to be sure that none of the quality of the picture is lost. Good software will ensure this does not happen.

You want to be able to add some special effects to your photos. For example, you may want to put some nice frames or boarders around them. Fonts are another important effect for the text you want to put with your picture. Therefore, you want software that will give you multiple choices.

One very important thing to remember when downloading your editing software is to make sure it will work properly with your type of computer operating system. You also want to choose a program that is not going to be complicated in downloading. Ideally, you will want one with a wizard feature to step you through this process.

Once you have decided on your photo editing software make sure you take the time to read the help material thoroughly. This way you are more likely to make use of everything the software has to offer. Once you outgrow the basic editing software, you can continue on to some that have far more advanced options. Often in anticipation of doing something, wonderful with our photos we jump into editing them without first learning the techniques then naturally, we become disappointed with the outcome. So practice with your camera, and have patience with your editing and there is no doubt that you will have some excellent photos.

LED Television Reviews - Making The Right Choice

By John Leonard

When considering purchase of new technology, it is important that you research before you buy. LED television reviews will help you to decide if these televisions are right for your. Reading the reviews may also help you to decide to go another direction also. Finding the right review may be necessary to be satisfied with the purchase you make.

Older LCD televisions were a vast improvement in size over picture tube or projection sets. They take up much less room. They are almost flat so floor space is freed up. Pictures are good, but could never rival a plasma television.

The back light was the main problem with LCD televisions. In these first sets, florescent tubes provided the back light. These tubes tend to become dim in three to four years and cause the set to have to be replaced. Fluorescent tubes also do not produce a full color range, so some colors are less bright than they should have been to produce the best picture.

The LED television attempts to solve many of these problems. The only real difference in the LED television is the source of back light. LED lamps have become popular in home lighting, Christmas lamps and flash lights. They use very little energy, have a very long life and produce a very bright white light. Some of the home lamps are said to have a twenty year life expectancy. LED lamps do not have the color gaps of florescent tubes. This gives the set a full range of color for television viewing. The problem with LCD televisions was not the LCDs but the florescent lamps.

LED lamps consume less energy than their florescent counterparts. The lower energy usage will eventually make a difference in the total amount of energy consumed by our country.

The final difference is that with LED lighting, television sets can be made much thinner than the three inch deep sets made possible with LCD technology. Sets may soon be available that are only one-half of an inch thick. These sets will lend themselves even more to wall mounting and may need no television stand on which to sit.

LED televisions offer large screens without the bulk or problems of projection televisions. They are wonderful for watching television but even better for sports and movies.

When reading LED television reviews, many people are tempted to just look at numerical or star ratings. It is important when looking at these reviews to go beyond the ratings and see why people make the ratings that they do. There are some people that will write reviews that never give a bad rating to anything they review as far as the numbers go. However by reading their review you may find other very valuable information the will help with your decision.

On the other hand, there are also people who believe that they should never give anything a perfect score. They look for a reason to lower their score. Be sure that you also read their report to see why the product was scored lower than by other people.

Always take time to actually view a television before purchase. Even if you purchase online, visit a showroom to see the product in action. Then you can know if it is the right product for you.

Witty Parodies on Lost

By J. D Theis

A simple parody on lost lasts on an average between five minutes to seven minutes but have you ever thought about the level of genius that works behind creating a lost parody?? Kudos to the fine brothers for coming up with one hilarious lost parody after another for over three years now.

This concept gained so much popularity that the ABC guys could not resist this act and complemented the Fine Brothers. They did not try to take any chances and create a spoof of their best ever in house production. Where as they used the concept of lost and tried to come over the Fine Brother for creating the parody on lost. ABC launched Lost Untangled, a series which showed the past events that took place in the earlier season of Lost. This gave a boost to the new followers as they could catch up with the past events and get complete knowledge.

Coming to the element of genius and innovative thinking contained in a typical parody on lost, it is certain that the makers are an ardent followers of not only lost, but also the show and the series with they create a spoof on it. for instance, the star trek parody had me in splits with Zachary Quinto aka spock of star trek visiting the enchanted island but in costumes of Sylar, on of the gifted hero of the heroes, the famous saga of the people with mysterious powers and how their combined forces are bent upon saving the earth.

So basically when Sulu saw him, she couldn't be sure if it's Spock or not and Spock ended up muttering "same actor wrong toy"(and wrong show indeed: D). this is just an example of how witty and hilarious a lost parody can get. The beginning itself of this particular parody on lost was "this is Lost with star trek and time travel, it needs no logic!", so one is torn between deciding if it was a lost parody or a parody on star trek.

To get the complete coverage of lost parody you can log on to www.lost-tv-show.com and check out the latest happenings in the parody on lost and enjoy the magic. All the episodes of the lost parody are available in high-definition so, that you can enjoy parody on lost in high quality sound and picture.

An Introduction To Music Downloads

. Wednesday, September 23, 2009

By John Roberts

If you want to get startled music downloads, then home for this article will give you a few tips. Music downloads, referring to them here, are entirely legal.

Firstly, with the legal options, you have no risk of getting malicious software and your computer, and of course you are not breaking the law which in itself offers many advantages.

If you want to build up your music collection, then you sit down notes are a great and economical way to do it. Going in buying CDs in the shops is definitely not an economical way of doing it. This is mainly because under most circumstances, you can't mix your own CDs so if you want a specific song, you have to buy the whole album.

That is hardly very economical when there are hundreds of different songs that you like but you want to buy hundreds of CDs just to get those songs. On the Internet, you can legally download all the music you want and none of the music you don't want.

You can choose the songs you want on the Internet, and usually, you can also choose the quality you want to download them in. Format is also an option in certain cases. Make sure you go for the highest quality you can but this slightly depends on your Internet connection.

Contrary to popular belief, if you download music over the Internet on your computer, and certainly doesn't mean to say that you can only play the music on a computer. You can easily burn the CD and popular CD burning software. This is a simple and easy process and while it is a slight inconvenience, it a small trade off considering the convenience you get over all of downloading music on the Internet and of course the costs saved.

Purchasing an HDTV Set

By Anderson Xarquez

There is much more involved when buying a high-definition TV set then just picking out a model at the store. To get the best high definition set for your needs and in your price range you will need to do some research and gain knowledge on what makes a TV high definition. High definition TVs can be expensive so you do not want to make an uneducated purchase.

If you want a genuine HDTV then you need to know the definition between high definition and enhanced definition TV. A high definition TV will have a minimum resolution of 12800 x 720 while an enhanced definition TV has lower resolution. A genuine HDTV should have at least one 1080p HDMI port as well as has support for HDCP. These connections mean that you can connect a high definition DVD player or a Blue Ray player to the HDTV.

Currently slimmer TVS are in and HDTVS tend to have truer blacks while LCD screen are brighter. If you want to fill your entire all with the picture then an HDTV projector is a good choice. The best pictures are from "tube" HDTVs though these are slowly going out of production.

You should test out your HDTV of interest. The best movies to use are fast paced colorful films. The best TVs will not have any jagged lines during the fast scene. You also need to be aware that channels that are not high definition will not look well on a high definition TV. So you need to determine what you watch as a high definition TV will need high definition or digital channel.

If you want to get free HD network channels from your local stations you will need an HDTV that contains a built in tuner. If you subscribe to satellite cable or higher then basic cable you would look into an HDTV monitor or display and you will not need a built in tuner. While most TVs should have all the video components, red, blue and green you still need to check. You want more than two sets of these connections so that you can connect your Xbox, DVD or cable.

With any high definition television you will need high definition connections to get the best viewing no matter what you are watching. To connect an HD or blue ray player you will need HDMI ports and the corresponding cables. Game players will use component connections.

There are also several other connection options available but the best for HDTV are DVI/HDMI. There are also widescreen and full screen HDTVs available. A widescreen is the true format that movies come in while a full screen is a cropped and squashed picture.

Features Of Good Fishing Lakes

By Ferdinand Emy

With thousands of fishing lakes across the world, selecting the one you wish to expend your time at when setting up a fishing expedition can be disconcerting. Because of the wide range in variety, it is suggested that you pick fishing lakes that have the sort of fish that you desire. This may seem evident, but there are many fishers who decide which lake to fish at based off of location and not based off of the stock that resides within the fishing lakes.

Once you have established what type of fish you wish to fish for, you'll need to check the locations of the fishing lakes. Additionally to general location and sort of fish in the fishing lakes, you will want to consider the landscape around the lakes. In the case of remote fishing lakes, there are some dangers associated with fishing. These can include snake bites, bear attacks and wolves in the territory. If you are forecasting on embarking to extremely remote fishing lakes, you need to ensure you are taking the necessary precautions to protect yourself and anyone who is fishing with you. If you wish to go on a fishing adventure into the wilds, its suggested that you go with a good tour guide, as they will know how to access the best fishing lakes, know the fishing holes, and know how to desist any dangers that may be in the territory.

When fishing, particularly in remote areas, you'll want to make sure someone in your group has a GPS. This is especially fundamental for those who do not own cell phones. As many GPS units now include emergency characteristics built in, backing will be able to locate and get to you if a good number of thing were to happen.

When a fishing expedition to popular fishing lakes, you'll wish to make sure that your fishing license is in order, as rangers and local officials in the region are known to do check points and watch for those without a license. While this is less common in remote locations, the penalties and fees can get quite high if you are caught without the proper documentation.

What Is An Airsoft Gun?

By Anthony Carter

If you're reading this then you have thought it yourself, just what is it? Airsoft guns are becoming increasingly popular in North America but many still don't know exactly what they are.

In simple terms, an airsoft gun is an exact copy of the real thing. The exception is that they fire plastic pellets, not bullets and use compressed gas. CO2 cartridges are the most commonly used form of compressed gas, but some gun models operate using electrical motors or springs. 6mm plastic pellets travel through this toy with a muzzle velocity of somewhere between 30 to 250 meters per second.

You shouldn't let the talk of plastic pellets fool you though, copper and other metal pellets have been known to be used in these guns and these will cause damage to the skin. If the proper supplies are used however, airsoft guns can be a pretty safe method of entertainment. The recommended age for use is 16 and up so children younger then this should never use them especially not unsupervised. Some states even require you to be at least 18 before being able to enter a tournament.

The history of airsoft guns is a unique one, dating back to the 70's in Japan where owning firearms was illegal. People still had an interest in weaponry so they found a loop hole around this law and began to manufacture fakes that looked like the real thing but fired plastic and rubber balls. The 6mm and 8mm size ammunition later became standard. These older models were all spring powered but later became gas powered.

Sometime in the mid 1990's this Japanese creation found it's way over to North America and things here just haven't been the same since. North American's helped to evolved airsoft guns in to what they are today.

As with any great product, cheap knock offs eventually began to pop up forcing the United States to place restrictions on the sale and import. Today all airsoft guns must have a regulation orange tip in order to be allowed in to the country for sale.

Because some of these models are so accurate to their real life counter parts, intellectual property laws have became a problem from some of the manufacturing companies. Most of these companies are Japanese based and the United States restricts imports of certain models they feel are too life like for use here.

Just reading the description of airsoft guns makes it sound so fun, which it is. It is a great outdoor recreational activity that many enjoy. It has quite the following and tournaments take place on a regular bases in almost every state. If you are looking for a little excitement without to much risk and danger then this sport would be one that you might want to look in to. Entire families sometimes get involved and it's a great way to spend family time together.

There are thousands of reasons you should buy The Beatles In Mono (assuming, of course, that you enjoy their music anywhere near as much as I do.) This article focuses on just seven of those many reasons.

(1) You cannot buy the the mono Beatles CDs by themselves. For example if you want to buy the mono mix of Sgt. Pepper, you will need to buy the entire Beatles in Mono Box Set. This is different from the Beatles in Stereo Box Set because the remastered stereo CDs contained in that set are also the official Beatles CDs now and can be bought on their own too.

(2) Many of the mono mixes sound significantly different from their stereo mixes. In some cases the differences are much more than just the panning, in some cases like with "She's Leaving Home" the mono mix is almost like a different song. "She's Leaving Home" is sped up in mono.

(3) If you are one of the many people who really hates the wide panning of many of The Beatles stereo mixes (where vocals and drums are panned hard left or hard right) you will probably find the mono mixes to be quite a relief.

(4) There are only a limited number of The Beatles in Mono Box Sets being made. There is no official statement on how many copies will be made. They are likely to become a collectors item in the future.

(5) These are the mixes that most Beatles fans heard back in the 1960s. If you really want to hear their music as The Beatles originally intended it be heard and how it was heard by most people at the time then you need this mono box set.

(6) The packaging is awesome. Each CD comes in a replica of the original vinyl release.

(7) The Beatles in Mono Box Set comes with an exclusive essay by Kevin Howlett which includes a lot of interesting information on the mono mixes.
